IR Partners acts as S-Bank’s strategic communications partner
IR Partners acts as S-Bank’s strategic partner in a wide range of areas, including communications, financial communications, and sustainability reporting. An experienced strategy consultant from IR Partners served as S-Bank’s interim communications director during the spring and early fall of 2024, leading the communications team through a period of change. The year 2024 was historic for S-Bank in many ways. In December, S-Bank completed the largest acquisition in its history: the purchase of Handelsbanken’s Finnish retail banking, asset management, and investment services businesses. The acquisition was a significant step in the implementation of S-Bank’s strategy. As a result of the acquisition, S-Bank grew to a new scale and is now Finland’s fourth-largest retail bank. In 2025, S-Bank will advance its strategy by developing its customer service approach and making significant investments in the development of its digital and mobile services.
IR Partners’ collaboration with S-Bank continues as a close partnership covering the strategic and operational planning and execution of communications, including media relations. In addition, IR Partners acts as a partner in the planning and implementation of IR communications, such as the preparation of stock exchange releases and financial reports, as well as in the development and implementation of sustainability reporting.
